We have been using Madeira Threads UK for the last five years for our embroidery supplies. They have now introduced eco-friendly products to their range. Eagl-s Print Solutions is committed to doing what we can to help save the planet and so, moving forward we will transfer to Polyneon Green for our threads.
We already offer recycled options for some of our paper-based products and when we found out about Madeira's eco-friendly thread options we wanted to introduce those instead of the traditional polyester threads we currently use.
We understand this is a small gesture to make but think it is an important move in the right direction and our aim is to add more strategies in the future.
What the manufacturer says...
"Our Polyneon Green thread is manufactured using recycled transparent bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The process gives post-consumer waste a second life in brilliant, shiny colours. By reusing existing materials, no new waste is created, and non-renewable resources are saved."
